Fuel cell vehicles use pure hydrogen as fuel to produce electricity. Many experts see our automobile future in this technology, whilst others have doubts as to whether it will ever manage the transition from prototype to series production. This form of propulsion only makes ecological sense if the hydrogen is produced by regenerative means.
